Stoke City are recruiting a First Team Performance Analyst specialising in opposition analysis to support tactical preparation and coaching decisions.
The role involves leading opposition analysis, delivering coach-ready intelligence and supporting match preparation across league and cup fixtures.
- Lead opposition analysis for First Team fixtures.
- Analyse tactical structures, pressing, transitions and defensive organisation.
- Deliver opposition reports and video presentations to coaches.
- Identify key players, matchups and set-piece threats.
- Maintain opposition databases and conduct live scouting.
- 2:1 undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis, Sports Coaching or a related discipline.
- Professional football analysis experience (First Team or Academy).
- Advanced Hudl Sportscode and Hudl Studio skills.
- Experience with Wyscout and Opta.
- Strong tactical knowledge and presentation skills.
Desirable: Master's degree, UEFA B Licence, live scouting experience and UK driving licence.
