Job Description
The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is seeking an innovative and development-focused Performance Analyst to support the England Women U19 programme and wider Cricket Intelligence function.
This unique consultancy role goes beyond traditional match coding and reporting. Working across camps, competitions, overseas tours and strategic projects, you'll help accelerate player learning, improve cricket IQ and integrate analysis, coaching, scouting and performance intelligence to support the next generation of England Women's cricketers.
As Performance Analyst, you'll operate across four key areas:
- Tactical Player Development
- Cricket Intelligence
- Scouting & Talent Intelligence
- Learning & Innovation
Working closely with coaches, analysts and performance staff, you'll deliver live and retrospective analysis while designing engaging educational resources that improve tactical understanding, decision-making and player development.

- Deliver live and post-match analysis during camps, fixtures, tournaments and overseas tours.
- Provide frontline analytical support throughout camp environments.
- Produce opposition analysis and tactical previews.
- Create player-specific learning resources using video, tactical trends and performance insight.
- Embed analysis into training design and player development sessions.
- Design educational interventions that improve game awareness and tactical decision-making.
- Translate complex analytical information into practical learning experiences.
- Support player reflection and decision-making through evidence-based feedback.
- Develop learning frameworks that accelerate tactical understanding.
- Support England Women's wider Cricket Intelligence strategy.
- Assist with data collection, tagging, quality assurance and insight generation.
- Contribute to integrated intelligence systems linking data, video and scouting.
- Support innovation projects exploring predictive analytics and contextual performance.
- Consolidate scouting reports, video, observational notes and performance data.
- Support player tracking, succession planning and talent monitoring.
- Work collaboratively with scouts, coaches and analysts to improve intelligence sharing.
- Contribute to selection and long-term player development discussions.
