Job Description

Manchester United are seeking a Women's Academy Performance Analyst to support the development of players across the Women's Academy programme through high-quality performance analysis.

Working closely with coaches and multidisciplinary staff, you'll deliver insightful analysis that enhances individual player development, team performance, and supports the club's playing philosophy within a high-performance academy environment.

Women's Academy Performance Analyst (Casual)

  • Film, code, and analyse Women's Academy training sessions and fixtures
  • Deliver pre-match, live (where appropriate), and post-match analysis to coaches and players
  • Produce individual player clips and feedback to support technical and tactical development
  • Create engaging analysis presentations to enhance player learning and understanding
  • Support the individual development of academy players through objective video and performance feedback
  • Work closely with coaches to reinforce learning and improve team performance
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performance learning environment aligned with the club's philosophy
  • Maintain performance analysis systems, databases, and video libraries
  • Ensure analysis workflows are accurate, organised, and delivered to a high standard
  • Support the effective management of performance analysis resources across the academy
  • Build strong relationships with coaches and multidisciplinary staff
  • Communicate analysis findings clearly and effectively
  • Contribute proactively to the continued development of the Women's Academy performance environment
  • Strong understanding of football and performance analysis
  • Experience using performance analysis software such as Hudl, Angles, Final Cut Pro, Keynote, or similar platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality analysis
  • Ability to interpret performance data and present findings clearly
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends to support the academy programme
